Ornaments

With snow outside, it was time to start thinking about Christmas. Zoe and I spent time making ornaments. Aren't they pretty...?:)

 

More jewelry....

Marissa inspired me and so I made a few new pieces.

 

 

Some earrings with etched bronze and a pretty blue gem stone. The second necklace is a little different with the dupioni silk as a necklace and an old key as a pendant. The grey one is jasper and has a finished viking knit in bronze necklace. It looks good I think!

 

A day off

On the weekend I spent time with my sister in her new home. What a view!

Today I took the day off to play with my jewelry materials. Here are some earrings I made. I used the rolling mill to texture the copper. What fun! For the bronze ones I etched the metal. They worked out ok I think!

My mom's parents

These are my grandparents, my mom's parents. Fun pictures eh?!

Beekeeping

My brother Peter is a beekeeper in his spare time. He is very knowledgeable about it and took us on a little tour through a new educational facility he helped to set up. It was fascinating!
