Spinner ring

In June I attended a class to learn how to make spinner rings. I have been so busy that I have had virtually no time to do much in the way of making jewelry. Tonight I decided to practice and try to make a ring. Here is the result. It worked out pretty good!

I keep thinking about the beauty of La Sagrada Familia. Truly a masterpiece, with a magical atmosphere.

Here are my grandparents on my mom's side, my dad's family with parents and siblings, and my parents. I do miss them so. I love these old pictures!

When I visited my brother, I came across some old photographs of my parents while they were dating, just after the war. Take a look!

 

 

Souvenir

I received some souvenirs from Holland in the mail yesterday. What a surprise...! They came in the mail. Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5 but 6 envelopes, with a pretty lavender edge.

They were from the ministry of justice. Speeding tickets!!!! Can you believe it? They were for 5 km or so over the limit. There are cameras everywhere, at least everywhere I drove I guess. Thank goodness there is no mutual demerit point system between Canada and Holland. Phew, there is a good side to everything, hahaha.

 

Memories

 

 

 

While in Holland, we decided, on our aniversary, to go down memory lane and visit the castle where we got married. It was fun and brought back many memories! When you walk around there, you can imagine yourself in the Middle Ages. I do like bathrooms though. The castle picture shows the "extensions" from which the human waste falls into the moat!
