Family Day

Family Day, a relatively new holiday. Initially I didn't think much of it, just another day off. But each year we have done a family type of thing and I have to say I actuallu enjoy it. Today we went with John's family to Congee Queen, a Chnese restaurant on Don Mills and Lawrence. Great food, great people and so a great time!!

Doe, a deer, a female deer

Every year in the winter, we have deer perusing our backyard (and eating my cedars!). They are amazing to watch. Yesterday we were in the hot tub and one stood watching us for 30 minutes. Maybe she liked my bathing suit :)
How lucky we are to be able to see this while living in a city!

To all my friends and family

In the midst of this busy life, there are many moments where I am grateful for all of you. Friends and family give life that special feeling and without them life is not meaningful. I am grateful for all of you being part of my life. There are some events that pose some challenges to life right now and knowing I have a support system means so much to me.
Thank you.

Will it or won't it, that is the question...

Will it be the bid storm they are predicting...? I always wonder whether it is hype or reality. Only one way to find out... Before I drive off to work tomorrow, a peek out the window will do the trick.
Here is a picture of the great blizzard of 1888 in new York. let's hope it is not going to be like this!
