Some new jewelry

I planned to make some jewelry over the holidays. Here are a few pieces.

The bracelet is made with my own viking knit, closure etc. The dangle is a heart by Thomas Mann, and a Thai sliver charm. The beads are handmade and unfortunatley I cannot remember who made them..... I bought them at Bead and Button. So pretty!

The earrings contain a silver flower that spins. I like them a lot!

Hot yoga

I have been wanting to try Hot yoga for a while. Today I decided to give it a go!
Well, it was definitely hot, 105 degrees Fahrenheit.... But it was good and so I am going to try it for a while. It is interesting how you can actually get a bit used to the heat. Two thirds into the class I thought it was too much and then managed to change my focus and finish it. It heats up your muscles while you stretch. I felt good when I came out. So, I survived, which was my goal! Now on to learning more yoga movements:)

Dutch cousins

Here is pretty much the whole group of Zoe's Dutch cousins! So cute!! They grow up so fast...

Senior sale.....

Today I was at Shoppers to buy some cough medicine. As I checked out the young girl behind the cash register asked me if I was a senior.... Because that meant I would get a discount! Now, honestly, I love a sale, but did she really think I was a senior?! I must have looked very tired. No, while my age does not bother me, this one was too much:)
It is just like congratulating someone with her pregnancy only to find out she is not pregnant! The poor girl, she didn't know how fast to retract her words........

Such great memories

Take a look at these pictures. Aren't they so cute?! Zoe with her Dutch cousin and my god child Celien, my brother's daughter. And the picture with both my brothers brings tears to my eyes, as it includes my brother Paul, who died in 2005. Time goes so fast, it seems like only yesterday. At least these are happy moments that remind me of him......

I came across an add for the Toronto Christmas Market in the distillery district, starting November 30th to December 16th.
It looks like a lot of fun. Has anyone been?

I have been surfing Pinterest the past week or so. There is so much to see and so many beautiful, cool, weird, wonderful, funny and many more adjectives that describe the things and content I see. I think I am hooked. It is inspiring me and yet I am not producing anything myself. Oh well, it helps me to be a better possibilitarian.......

This morning I was playing with my iPad and I found this neat app.
It is a drawing and colouring tool by "53". It won an award from Apple. Of course that could be because there are in- app purchases you have to have once you try it for free. A lot of fun though!

Well, it looks like Obama will win! Not all the votes are in but it seems there is no way Mitt Romney will win. I am happy!
