A day with friends

This is what happens when you spend a day with friends with similar interests. Many things happen. Inspiration, laughter, stories, some getting fixed..... I had a fun time and look forward to the next get together.

Fog

I flew home from Montreal today where the
weather was stunning. Sunny, beautiful, 12 degrees and when we got to Toronto, we actually watched, from the plane, the fog move in. It was like a Sci-Fi movie.  See the escarpment? And then it is all clouds.....

Truly amazing...

Now it's a set!

I couldn't help myself. The bronze bracelet needed a necklace and earrings to match... Here they are! I think I am becoming a bronze junkie. It is quite different from silver to work with. The metal is harder, doesn't fire but colours beautifully when you heat it. It looks like brass when you first start, but then takes on golden colours when you put a torch to it.

Sidetracked

While I was looking for my wire to finish a viking knit chain for my choker, I came across bronze wire I had bought. I couldn't resist and this is what happened. Don't you just love the bronze colour...?!

Best of both

My friend came up with a great suggestion. Make it a convertible necklace and make it so you could use either one! She is so smart ;)
So I am going to try. Stay tuned....
